I know it has been FOREVER since we (I) have posted. The holidays are such a busy time! We traveled all over Michigan and Indiana while celebrating Christmas. We have had many opportunities to see friends and family...it really is a wonderful time of year!
So yesterday, January 27, I finally took down our Christmas decorations! yay! I'm pretty excited that I actually got them down before February! Our apartment looks so bare now...we didn't have many decorations before Christmas and now we are back to the blah look.
Dan has been battling sickness after sickness this winter season. He is sick again today...making for a real exciting weekend!
We visited a new church today, Chapel Point in Jenison. We haven't had time to really discuss whether we liked it or not. We went to our friend's house, Cristy and Daniel, for lunch. Daniel was just hired on as Chapel Point's worship director. Chapel point is moving into their new facility in two Sundays which will change the feel of the service alot. I really want to check them out again once they are in their new building. One thing that was really good about the church was their donuts! They had HUGE chocolate glazed donuts! It was wonderful! (there were other things i liked about the church too...i'll write later to discuss those!)

You are SO funny! Yep, the best part of FEBC is the donuts too. What a stitch! I wonder if the head haunchos had that in mind when they decided to have donuts. Another thing FEBC decided on was having CD's play the prelude instead of the instruments. BAD IDEA! We have such live talent. Much better to use what God created in a church than what man created on a CD. Just my opinion (plus about six others that complained to me instead of complaining to the powers that be and can do something about it). Now that I have stated my complaint, I should get off your comments section and get back to reading a really good book! Love you two! Sorry about Dan-O (maybe it is his "new" cook to blame).
you lil heathen. but i love ya. ;);)
glad you had a great holiday season; all of our decorations are still up (tree, lights, stockings, the whole shebang), so you definitely beat us.
miss you! hope i can see you soon for more than just a couple of hours. how are those tests you are studying for coming along? when do you take them? talk to you later.
The title of this entry is even more true after your weekend of snow. We are so glad that your family and L's family are safe. By the weather map, we are going to get it today! Oh boy!
i know isn't the resemblance creepy? i totally agree.
i love you both! happy valentine's day, dan and emily. i WILL see you soon!
Sorry you guys couldn't make it down! You were missed. And you missed out on some GREAT food, too, because Mom's wonderful. Can't wait to see you both sometime soon!!!
Love,
Buzz
"You are alive" yes, but updating, no. Keep us informed. We love to hear what is going on, even if it is only work related. Miss you two!
Obviously you don't read this often or update often. Do you mean to tell me that NOTHING has happened since January? Can't believe that! See you Friday!
I guess the only updating this thing will get is more comments from me.
