Dan and I have cut back our grocery budget due to the pay cut, so I am determined not to buy Little Debbie cakes or granola bars anymore. I'm sure I can make them cheaper. I had my very first "baking day" this week. I will post more on that later.
I will try to start posting recipes too so that I can share any good ones I find.

Good job, Emily! Yep, you can make snacks much cheaper, healthier and better tasting at home. I make double recipes all the time and freeze them. I pack them in snack ziplocs and grab one for Dad's lunch. By lunch time, it is thawed and taste like I just made them. Keep up the good work, we love hearing about all your deals. We will have to start cutting back in a few months too, maybe I will take lessons from you and Lacey.
I have a good granola bar recipe, let me know if you want it. I've made it twice now for T and I, and it's mm mm good! You can mix things up with it too, for different flavors. Love you!
